Avui fa 43 anys es publicava a la Gran Bretanya un dels discs més emblemàtics de John Lennon, el Beatle de les ulleres que es va fer hippy, i que va acabar assassinat a mans d'un admirador amb problemes mentals, a un hotel de Nova York a l'edat de 40 anys. Dins d'aquell disc hi destacava el tema de títol homònim, que es va convertir en una mena d'himne de la causa pacifista arreu del planeta.
